2017 WWE Fastlane Preview and Predictions
This is the last stop until Wrestlemania 33 as Smackdown had their final PPV back in February, this time it is Raw’s time to start setting things up for Wrestlemania. Three titles are on the line and some great singles action will be the bulkload of Fastlane. Bayley will have to take on the PPV queen Charlotte for the Raw women’s title, and Kevin Owens is now solo to take on the legend Goldberg for the WWE Universal title. Fastlane should answer a lot of questions and get some matches set up for the big one in April.

Fastlane Match Preview and Predictions
Rich Swann and Akira Tozawa vs. The Brian Kendrick and Noam Dar (with Alicia Fox)
Tozawa wasn’t happy that The Brian Kendrick wanted to mentor him, as Tozawa respects him, he wants to do all of this on his own and just fight. The Brian Kendrick didn’t like that. Swann returned from injury and defeated Noam Dar, then talked trash to his girlfriend Alicia Fox.
So overall Swann and Tozawa have individual problems that they are teaming up to take down. It is a typical heel vs. face tag team match. Swann and Tozawa are higher on the cruiserweight card, so a win here can boost their stock.
Rich Swann and Akira Tozawa win via pinfall
Neville (c) vs. Jack Gallagher for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Now onto the main even for the cruiserweights. While Jack Gallagher would be a good champion, Neville is going to be the champion for a while. He is the king of crusierweights and he will look like a monster doing it until someone with a big push comes in and takes over.
Neville wins via pinfall
Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax
A rematch from their royal rumble bout, things might have the same results. Nia Jax hasn’t had any real competition besides Sasha, and while Banks winning would be a good thing, it isn’t time for Jax to lose. It would lower her appeal and strength for Wrestlemania. They want her looking as powerful as she can be and with another win over Sasha, it would help a great deal.
Nia Jax wins via pinfall
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson (c) vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship
This rivalry hasn’t been built up that greatly. The tag team divisions for both Raw and Smackdown are lacking real stars and a true dominant team. Gallows and Anderson losing the belts would make the titles look weak, changing hands for the third time this year. Gallows and Anderson need to keep them for a while longer.
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson win via pinfall
Sami Zayn vs. Samoa Joe
Joe called out Zayn for just being happy for being on Raw, and Zayn called him out for cleaning up other peoples messes. They attacked each other for a few weeks and here we are. Joe isn’t making his PPV debut and losing. Joe is going to be portrayed as some kind of monster and him losing his first big match would knock him down a peg. Joe is going to be a main even attraction and with this win, it helps boost him up.
Samoa Joe wins via pinfall
Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman
The complete opposite is going to happen in this fight. While WWE is building up Samoa Joe, they are about to knock Braun Strowman down after months of buildup. He has been dominant in singles action and while he lost the Royal Rumble, he hasn’t had a sign of weakness yet. Roman Reigns is the new face of the company and now it is time to slay the beast called Braun Strowman. Roman might have something big planned at Wrestlemania and winning this going in will make him look even tougher than before.
Roman Reigns wins via pinfall
Bayley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship
While it wasn’t an ideal situation for Bayley to win the championship in Monday Night Raw, as many fans while were happy to see her win, thought it shouldn’t have happened it. Many want it at Wrestlemania and they will get it. First though, she has to lose it to the PPV queen Charlotte, then she can take her down (and possibly others) on the biggest stage.
Charlotte wins via submission
Kevin Owens (c) vs. Goldberg for the WWE Universal Championship
This match could go either way. Kevin Owens ended his friendship with Chris Jericho a few weeks back and has gone solo now. We all know Goldberg will take on Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania, but for the title or will another stipulation come up?
Chris Jericho will get his revenge for the beatdown he received from Owens and will do something to distract Owens and give Goldberg an advantage and he will win the title. Setting up Goldberg vs Lesnar for the championship at Wrestlemania and Kevin Owens vs Chris Jericho, probably for the United States championship, something Owens helped Jericho win.
Goldberg wins via pinfallhttps://www.myfantasysportstalk.com/2017-wwe-fastlane-preview-and-predictions/https://i0.wp.com/www.myfantasysportstalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/wwe-160221-660x380-2.jpg?fit=660%2C380&ssl=1https://i0.wp.com/www.myfantasysportstalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/wwe-160221-660x380-2.jpg?resize=150%2C150&ssl=1Combat SportsRecent PostsWWEBayley, fastlane,Goldberg,Kevin Owens,Samoa Joe,wweThis is the last stop until Wrestlemania 33 as Smackdown had their final PPV back in February, this time it is Raw's time to start setting things up for Wrestlemania.
