2018 Fantasy Football Defense/Special Teams Rankings
(USA TODAY SPORTS)

Up next in my 2018 rankings, I have my top 20 Defense/Special Teams for the year. Like kickers, do not draft one before the second to last round of your draft.

That being said, if you’re in a deeper league or want one of my top three defenses, I wouldn’t have a huge issue with you taking a one of these units in Round 13 or so if you have a solid team. I personally wouldn’t, and I would suggest that, like kickers, you stream a defense every week. On the waiver wire, you should be able to find a defense that is playing a crappy offense each week. But if everyone followed that philosophy and took a defense in the last round, here’s the order in which I would draft them in.

1. Los Angeles Rams
2. Minnesota Vikings
3. Jacksonville Jaguars
4. Denver Broncos
5. Philadelphia Eagles
6. New Orleans Saints
7. Houston Texans
8. Los Angeles Chargers
9. Pittsburgh Steelers
10. Baltimore Ravens
11. Arizona Cardinals
12. Atlanta Falcons
13. New England Patriots
14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
15. Tennessee Titans
16. Carolina Panthers
17. New York Giants
18. Detroit Lions
19. Chicago Bears
20. Cincinnati Bengals
