A new year, new day is upon everybody in the college football world–but squads like UTSA are anxious for the season to kick off, ready to wash the bitter taste from their mouths that lingers from the 2018 season.

Last season was horrendous for the UTSA football team and their fans. The 2018 season began with a lot of positive possibilities, but took a downturn almost immediately–looking ahead to the 2019 season, there’s nowhere to go but up for head coach, Frank Wilson and his squad.

The defense has shown in the past that they could be good at times, but they’re going to need a lot of help from the offense when it comes to putting up points on the board. After going 3-9 in 2018, nine of those defeats were lost by an average of 26 points.

As far as players go, UTSA will have a new look on defense as well as some new offensive players. But all eyes will be on head coach, Frank Wilson. “We want to have a good year. We need to have a good year”, said Wilson. With tensions already heating up, here’s the updated depth chart with the current roster.

As exciting as it is to know the current and full depth chart, the Alamodome will sure be rocking this coming Saturday with the new look and bright lights. Flashiness aside, the Roadrunners are going to have some stiff competition in front of them this weekend, as they get ready to open up the 2019 season against Incarnate Word.
