2019 Week 13 NFL Picks
Standings after Thanksgiving Games
Brandon Reid: 110-68-1
Dan Schalk: 104-74-1
Titans at Colts
Dan Schalk: Indianapolis Colts. I really have no idea, heck the Bills won on Thursday–anything is possible.
Brandon Reid: Tennessee Titans. I’ll repeat what I told my Titans fans groups on Facebook…the Colts are not winning this game. The Colts overachieved with Jacoby Brissett to start the season. Jacoby Brissett is no Andrew Luck. The Colts were also carried by a Marlon Mack running game to start the season. Mack is now out, along with T.Y. Hilton, and Eric Ebron. Brissett is hobbled. Vegas has the line at 1.5 for the Colts. That’s ridiculous. Take the Titans in a rout.
49ers at Ravens
Dan Schalk: Baltimore Ravens. As a Lamar Jackson fantasy owner, I’m glad this matchup is happening during the last week of the fantasy regular season as opposed to a fantasy playoff matchup.
Brandon Reid: Baltimore Ravens. Unbelievable! Super Bowl preview. The Ravens are going to be hard to stop on offense…for anyone. Ravens at home. Little doubt.
Jets at Bengals
Dan Schalk: Cincinnati Bengals. This team is not as bad as an 0-16 should be.
Brandon Reid: Cincinnati Bengals. Because the Jets are not good enough to just close out games like this. The Bengals have talent. Cincinnati Bengals get their first win of the season at home, in a Sunday sentimental story line of the day.
Browns at Steelers
Dan Schalk: Cleveland Browns. #ClevelandDoesItForMylesGarrett
Brandon Reid: Pittsburgh Steelers. I trust Mike Tomlin and his dawgs. I would take Mike Tomlin in a heartbeat as head coach of my team. He is always in the hunt. Even this year, after they could have folded the tent. Without Le’veon Bell, without Antonio Brown, without Ben Roethlisberger. Still in the hunt??? Steelers at home. Forget the Browns supposed momentum.
Eagles at Dolphins
Dan Schalk: Philadelphia Eagles. The easy schedule that can give Philadelphia the NFC East begins now.
Brandon Reid: Philadelphia Eagles. Call me crazy, but I still think the Eagles will turn it around. Definitely have no business losing against the Dolphins.
Redskins at Panthers
Dan Schalk: Carolina Panthers. I wonder if Dwayne Haskins will be taking selfies after this game?
Brandon Reid: Carolina Panthers. The Panthers are so much better than their most recent 4-of-5 losing streak. Sometimes the perfect opponent comes along. Panthers in a blowout.
Packers at Giants
Dan Schalk: Green Bay Packers. This game will not be close.
Brandon Reid: Green Bay Packers. Not even close. No chance of upset. Clearly a case of a mismatch. Packers let me down last week, but they’re a team I just can’t bet against right now, especially after the loss, to a tough Niners team.
Buccaneers at Jaguars
Dan Schalk: Jacksonville Jaguars. These teams are so difficult to predict week-to-week. I flipped a coin on this game.
Brandon Reid: Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I’m just not sure who the Jacksonville Jaguars are. And neither do they. Still trying to adjust, after a specific gameplan going into the season, turned south.
Rams at Cardinals
Dan Schalk: Los Angeles Rams. The Rams are not the same team that went to the Super Bowl last season, but they are still better than the Cardinals.
Brandon Reid: Los Angeles Rams. So much of me wants to predict the Cardinals, just so we can stick a fork in the Rams. They have let me down so big this season. But more talent, is more talent.
Raiders at Chiefs
Dan Schalk: Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes needs to look like the MVP he was last season if the Chiefs hope to make a long playoff run.
Brandon Reid: Kansas City Chiefs. Chiefs…show me something!!!
Chargers at Broncos
Dan Schalk: Los Angeles Chargers. It’s painful to watch the Broncos play football.
Brandon Reid: Los Angeles Chargers. I really have no preference. But I really can’t even tell you who plays for the Broncos these days.
Patriots at Texans
Dan Schalk: New England Patriots. I do not pick against Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, especially in prime time games.
Brandon Reid: New England Patriots. I feel like the Texans are slipping like the entire AFC South, with the exception of the Tennessee Titans. Their defense is definitely not the same without J.J. Watt. Good luck.
Vikings at Seahawks
Dan Schalk: Seattle Seahawks. Kirk Cousins is like the Dallas Cowboys–he does not beat good teams.
Brandon Reid: Seattle Seahawks. I just don’t trust Minnesota like that yet. I feel like the Seahawks have proved more this season. With the home field advantage, I got the Seahawks.
