Adrian Peterson caught a break finding a new team before the NFL Draft on Thursday. Not finding a team who was willing to work with Peterson comes at a good time as finding a suitor would’ve been more difficult for AP 2k.

The seven-time pro-bowler and the New Orleans Saints agreed to a two-year contract paying Peterson $3.25 million a year averaging out to around $7 million for the two years, with this year being fully guaranteed.

No telling what exact role Peterson will have at this point in his life being that Mark Ingram is coming off one of the best season of his pro career. Also it wouldn’t be justice if the Saints and Vikings didn’t cross paths sometime this season, that of course being week 1 on Monday Night Football.
