NFL Pick'em

After 17 grueling weeks of NFL picks, the crew here at MFST has crowned one winner–and we are not seeing a repeat champion. Dan Schalk, who took home the inaugural pick’em title last season, came in last place this year and if you read our picks, he became more of a comedic writer than an actual picker the final weeks of the season.

Our new champion is known around the MFST community as Mr. Last Place, but he is bucking the trend and is now the champion. That person is no other than Orlando Torres.

Orlando has dealt with ridicule from Dan, Brandon and loads of our My Fantasy Podcast listeners, but he finally gets the last laugh.

A 12-4 Week 17 sealed the deal for Orlando, as Brandon was only one game behind heading into the final week of the season, but only mustered an 8-8 week, coming in second place for the second consecutive year. Instead of #NewBreid, Brandon’s new nickname is Mr. Second Place.

Here are the final standings…

Final Pick’em Standings

Orlando Torres: 164-92

Brandon Reid: 159-97

Dan Schalk: 149-107

Stay tuned as our postseason pick’em contest will be kicking off shortly…
