Bills sign Kevin Johnson
The Buffalo Bills are expected to sign free agent cornerback Kevin Johnson, Ian Rapoport is reporting. Let’s hope this report is a more vetted than his previous Antonio Brown trade reports.
Johnson only managed one game played last season due to concussions and related symptoms. If he passes the team physical, there should be zero hiccups in the deal becoming official.
Johnson is a former first round pick who has missed 29 out of a possible 64 games throughout his career.
The Bills do have some depth at the position with Tre’Davious White and Levi Wallace, but they should continue to add to their defense, specifically an outside corner. With over $77+ million in salary cap space, the Bills should be in on a lot of free agents–we’ve already heard rumors of interest in Trey Flowers, who likely will sign the largest deal in free agency this year.
