Brock Lesnar drops WWE championship
Why??? Vince, Why? Like many, I’ve become so frustrated with the writing of the WWE as of late. Not having a full-time champion on Monday Night Raw is not only a joke, but it’s become normal. We wanted Braun Strowman to cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase on Sunday night, but nooooo… we’re stuck with Roman Reigns.
It’s also given chances to glorify and revamp titles such as the Women’s championship, and the Intercontinental championship, but the biggest question all pro wrestling fans, and even some MMA fans have been asking for some time is what’s going to happen once Brock Lesnar drops the title. Well that time has finally come, and as of now we may of very well seen the end of Lesnar in a wrestling ring for now. The next time we could see the combat sports mega star is back inside the octagon.
If so, expect Lesnar to face off against the current UFC heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier sometime in early 2019. Lesnar still has to wait out his suspension from USADA, when he was busted for clomiphene, after his bout with Mark Hunt. Although Lesnar does not deserve a title shot right away in the UFC, he’s not even under contract with the UFC as of now–however both parties know that a lot of money will be involved if this fight were to happen.
We have seen in the past where Lesnar was already training for a full-time gig back in the UFC, but Vince McMahon was able to pry him back to the wrestling business with a butt-load of money, so that’s also a possibility if Lesnar and Dana White are not able to come to an agreement.
