It is confirmed, “Suplex City” is set to make his return at UFC 200. Brock Lesnar famously made UFC 100 the company’s most purchased event ever, and it looks like he’s going to break that record at UFC 200. The news comes shortly after Ariel Helwani leaked the news and the UFC brass denied it all, possibly due to a legal obligation as the details of the deal were still being ironed out. The UFC has not announced an opponent for the 39-year-old heavyweight but you know every available heavyweight fighter is chomping at the bit trying to get their chance at stepping into the octagon with the company’s largest draw.

Brock was last seen in the Octagon when he faced Alistair Overeem at UFC 141 in 2011. He lost the fight while still suffering from the effects of diverticulitis. He has spent the last four years in the WWE, playing the role of the biggest baddest guy on the roster, famously ending the Undertaker’s Wrestlemania streak. Since he has remained active and still has a month to prepare, his transition back to the cage shouldn’t be so rough.

Any fight fan should be excited by this news, especially because it shakes up a stagnant Heavyweight division.

Here comes the pain!
