Buffalo Bills have an interesting schedule in 2015
The NFL schedule was released last night, and it looks as if there will be some great games to look forward to in 2015. The same goes for the Buffalo Bills schedule for this upcoming season. The Bills scored back-to-back primetime games with a Thursday night game against the NY Jets followed by a Monday night game at New England.
The Buffalo Bills look completely different on the roster and the coaching staff, and Coach Rex Ryan and offensive coordinator Greg Roman are sure to mix things up as far as lineups are concerned. The biggest change though seems to be the Bills swagger, and it helps when Rex is leading the charge. With that being said, the Bills schedule is anything but easy. They face off against the AFC South and NFC East this season, and that could provide the Bills stellar defense and unproven offense some challenges. The schedule shifts after the bye week, with Buffalo playing four home games in the first seven, but their Week 7 game is in London against the Jaguars. The second half of the schedule will be a brutal stretch, with 5 of 7 games (Week 9-15) being on the road against some solid competition.
According to CBS Sports, the Buffalo Bills have the 19th toughest schedule in the league (.486 win percentage), but that only accounts for wins and losses, not talent on the field in 2015. The Bills will have to start off the season with a home game against a loaded Indianapolis Colts team that has added several pieces to help out QB Andrew Luck and that below-average defense. They then follow that game up with a home matchup against the defending Super Bowl champs, the New England Patriots. Rex Ryan always looks forward to playing against the Pats, and his teams have always played tough against them, even if they take a loss.
It should be an interesting upcoming season, as the Bills have added talent but face many talented teams in the process. Can they finally make the playoffs, or are they destined to miss out on the postseason again, for what feels like 50 years since the last time that they played in a playoff game. We will have to wait and see, but in the meantime, here is the Buffalo Bills complete schedule.
One question that always crosses my mind is this: How do the New England Patriots always have an easy schedule? If you win the Super Bowl, you should be playing the toughest schedule the following year, right?
