Rajon RondoThe Chicago Bulls have parted ways with Rajon Rondo.

The outspoken point guard had a rollercoaster season with the Bulls. Whether he was calling out Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler for their leadership or leading the Bulls to a 2-0 lead against the Celtics in the playoffs.

The Bulls had recently acquired Kris Dunn from the Timberwolves. That left them with four point guards on the roster. Rondo was the highest paid and the most volatile. So that is likely the reason the Bulls opted out of his contract.

There will no doubt be a market for the veteran point guard.

One place to keep an eye on may be New Orleans.

With Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins already there, Rondo could join them as a trio of former Kentucky Wildcats.
