Antonio Conte’s boys made it six wins in six games after sneaking pass Middlesbrough with a 1-0 win on Sunday. Chelsea has been unstoppable since the application of the 3-4-3 formation, which seems to be the best formation for the blues. They’ve surprisingly kept clean sheets in all six games and have scored a total of 17 goals; thanks to the defensive combination of Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Gary Cahill and the awaken attack force of Costa, Pedro and Hazard.

Antonio Conte’s eye opener was the thrashing he received at the Emirates, this forced him to look for another alternative hence the 3-4-3 incarnation. Since losing to Arsenal, Chelsea have kept a 100% win record against Hull City, Leicester City, Manchester United, Southampton, Everton and their latest, Middlesbrough.

If we rewind back to their 3-0 loss to Arsenal, we’d recall that many suggested that Antonio Conte might get the sack, and some even suggested that he can’t match the tempo of the premier league and couldn’t fit in the style. Well, we can certainly see he is winning against all odds and still daring for more.

Their next two games will definitely determine if they can fight for the trophy. Chelsea will play Tottenham (at home) and Manchester City (Away), Antonio Conte will face a hard test that’ll determine if they should be really regarded as title contenders.

City were labelled Title contenders when Pep Guardiola enjoyed his winning streak at the beginning of the season but couldn’t maintain the pace afterwards. Can Chelsea maintain the streak? Can they continue with their fine form and keep their “strong title contenders” tag? Maybe it is too early to say, but I would reckon the tag will be cemented when the get positive results in their next two fixtures.
