According to ESPN’s Jeff Passan, left-hander Cole Hamels has signed a one-year $18 million deal with the Atlanta Braves.

Hamels had a sub-par 2019 season for his standards, going 7-7 with a 3.81 ERA and 143 strikeouts across 141.2 innings with the Chicago Cubs. He will look to help solidify a Braves rotation that is on the brink of a lengthy postseason run.
