Connie Britton joins Ryan Murphy’s new show ‘9-1-1’
Connie Britton and Ryan Murphy are teaming up again in Murphy’s new drama titled ‘9-1-1’ that will debut next year on Fox. The series “explores the high-pressure experiences of police, paramedics and firefighters who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations. They must try to balance saving people with solving problems in their own lives.”
The duo first worked together on season one of Murphy’s American Horror Story and then most recently when Britton appeared in The People V. OJ Simpson.
Angela Bassett (American Horror Story) and Peter Krause (Parenthood) have already been cast in unknown roles and Britton’s role hasn’t been announced either.
This will be Brittons first new project since leaving Nashville where she played Rayna Jaymes from 2012-2017.
