DC’s Injustice 2 trailer released and it’s AMAZING
Today is truly a great day for video game and DC fans world-wide. NetherRealm Studios dropped the Injustice 2 reveal trailer early this morning on the heels of the poster leak by GameStop. Early yesterday a photo was leaked online of what appeared to be a promotional poster for the upcoming Injustice 2 game. This information was more than likely going to be revealed at E3 but due to the leak it seems plans changed. Ed Boon even took to Twitter to express his frustration with the leak.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Boon added “The plot for Injustice 2 will continue the story-line from the first game, a kind of Star Trek mirror universe in which Superman has become a tyrant in the name of world peace. Unlike Marvel, DC doesn’t insist that all of its story-lines intersect into a single “canon.”
“DC has this great infinite multiverse concept,” Boon says. “That allows us to do really creative stuff, and it doesn’t break the DC lore.”
The news for another Injustice game has been a hit with fans and was one of the most talked about subjects on Twitter yesterday. A trend that Ed Boon wanted not to happen so soon.
Anyone know how to de-trend something on twitter? pic.twitter.com/AbOJThXqZg

In the midst of the chaos, a new threat appears that will put Earth’s existence at risk. Players can play from the biggest DC roster ever offered in a fighting game, from classic fan favorites such as Batman, Superman, Supergirl and Aquaman, to astonishing new villains like Atrocitus and Gorilla Grodd. Battles will take place across arenas that have evolved in scale and span across iconic locations such as Metropolis, Gotham City and Atlantis.
