Deadpool vs Deathstroke
We’ve seen some awesome battles here: Penguin vs Joker, Poison Ivy vs Catwoman, Riddler vs Scarecrow, and the latest Harley Quinn vs Duela Dent. Here’s another battle I think we can all enjoy. Two deadly mercenaries facing off in a duel that will probably never end; Deadpool vs Deathstroke. They are extremely similar in almost every way, including their names: Deadpool’s real name is Wade Wilson and Deathstroke’s is Slade Wilson. They both carry two swords, are expert marksmen and assassins, elite swordsmen and hand-to-hand combatants, and even many of the same abilities and powers. While Wade’s healing factor can regenerate limbs and Slade’s cannot, they are both nearly immortal having recovered from life ending injuries. How would a battle between two such evenly matched combatants go?
For starters, their guns are all but useless. Either one can easily dodge the bullets using they’re enhance reflexes and agility, even if they were to find their target the other would heal without any real damage. The only way this fight will get anywhere is with the crossing of swords. Picture them jumping and twisting, a blur of black and crimson moving almost too fast for the eye to see, swords clanging and sparking as they catch strokes meant to maim. A thrust from Deathstroke catches Wade in the abdomen slightly staggering him. Slade steps in to take advantage, but the wound is already healing and Deadpool is ready. He parries Slade’s downward stroke with his left and brings his right sword up under Slade’s left arm, severing it at the shoulder. With little hesitation Deathstroke kicks Wade in the chest sending him sprawling to the floor. Deadpool quickly recovers and advances, dodging some bullets and Slade opens fire with his good arm, and cutting others out of the air. Once in close, Wade strikes the side only to be stopped by the body armor concealed under Deathstroke’s clothes. Slade swings wide and hard, Wade gets his sword up to block but, due to his superior strength, Deathstroke cuts through Deadpool’s sword and buries the edge of his blade in his opponent’s ribs. Wade grimaces and raises his good sword. Seeing the action Slade goes to pull his sword to defend only to find his sword was lodged in Deadpool’s side. As Wade feels the sword trying to pry free he starts to laugh and says, “See Slade, I’m not a rip off. I’m a cut above.” Just before he sends his katana humming through the air, then through Deathstroke’s neck.
My vote is clearly Deadpool but a strong argument can be made for Deathstroke. He is after all a tactical genius who can use 90% of his brain. How would your Deadpool vs Deathstroke battle go? Either way, it’s a battle that would make Ares envious.https://www.myfantasysportstalk.com/deadpool-vs-deathstroke/https://i2.wp.com/www.myfantasysportstalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/maxresdefault-1.jpg?fit=1024%2C576&ssl=1https://i2.wp.com/www.myfantasysportstalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/maxresdefault-1.jpg?resize=150%2C150&ssl=1ComicsEntertainmentMoviesRecent PostsTV Showsdeadpool vs deathstrokeWe’ve seen some awesome battles here: Penguin vs Joker, Poison Ivy vs Catwoman, Riddler vs Scarecrow, and the latest Harley Quinn vs Duela Dent.
