This week’s episode of Dynasty were full family drama, for all three families; the Carrington’s, the Flores’, and the Colby’s, which makes sense given that this was their Christmas episode.

fallon and jeff 2

This episode starts by reminding us all that Fallon and Jeff are still sleeping together regardless of the fact that their company, Morrell Corp is still not profitable. Then Jeff tells her that he was trying to reconcile with his father who was in prison which lead Fallon to take Monica, under false pretenses, to the prison with which she bails and is so angry that she hooks up with Culhane at the end of the episode.

But Fallon decides that this business partners with benefits relationship isn’t working and instead wants something real between the two which probably made anyone that’s #TeamJeff very happy. What’s not so great is the fact that Jeff also apparently has some kind of plan to get back at Blake or maybe even the entire Carrington family for planting drugs in his father’s car, which got him arrested in the first place.

The Carrington’s give a warm welcome Cristal’s sister, Iris, who she hasn’t seen for 12 years, Sammy Jo also hasn’t seen her for 6. But apparently Iris has her own intentions of wanting to stay in America via a work visa which she was at least hoping she’d get from working at, none other than, Carrington Atlantic. Then Steven and Fallon’s grandfather comes in with Steven, who had just come back from his house after a night of reigniting his drug addiction, which Steven could really care less about apparently.

Later in the episode we find out that Iris tried to rob her own sister by hiring that guy that threatened her in last week’s episode. Cristal decides to confront Iris herself rather than going to Blake with this new information. It turns out Iris was never in any trouble but was really just extorting her to get attention, plus a little extra spending cash.

cristal and iris

All of this drama came out later on in the episode where the whole truth came out; Iris and Cristal stole money from this guy, Alejandro, and when he caught them, Cristal killed him. And Alejandro was Sam’s father. But at the end of the episode, it’s revealed that Alejandro is still somehow alive and is about to work with Blake Carrington under a fake name, much like Cristal did a long time ago.
