FanDuel value plays for NFL Week 2
FanDuel Value Plays Week 2
Daily Fantasy is becoming more popular every year and is becoming more of a science than ever before. I went hard at DFS in Week 1, playing three different lineups and taking home a mediocre $55 (placed in all three contests).
In Week 2, these are some of the value plays I will be entering into my lineup…
Winston is 10th in terms of QB cost and facing a Bears defense that allowed 321 yards and a touchdown to Matt Ryan last weekend. Winston is at home, where he usually plays better and with his new weapons all over the field, I expect a great Sunday from the former No.1 overall pick.
Everyone is jumping on the Mike Gillislee train and I can’t stress enough—do NOT do that. This week will show you why. The Pats change their offensive gameplans week-to-week more than I change my underwear. I expect them to be a pass-first team against a weak Saints secondary and that means ample opportunity for the former Super Bowl MVP. White led the Patriots’ backfield in snaps per Pro Football Focus’ Nathan Jahnke– White out-snapped Mike Gillislee 43-24. He will be on the field more, gain more yards and despite the common belief that Gillislee will vulture touchdowns, that’s only the case when they are right near the goalline. Expect a 20+ yard TD from White this week.
Thompson is the back to own in Washington. This preseason, Fat-Rob Kelley was getting a lot of hype and honestly I’m not sure why. The Redskins are a pass-first team and Thompson is the lone receiving back on the roster. He put together a solid Week 1, catching four of his five targets for 52 yards and one touchdown. He won’t give you a high volume of rushing yards, but for the price Thompson is too good to pass up this week.
It is no secret that DeVante Parker instantly became the No.1 wide receiver in Miami with the addition of Jay Cutler. At $6,400 this is a serious value play this week in FanDuel–Miami getting a “bye” Week 1 has helped keep the cost down on players like Parker. Expect a big day.
Danny Amendola can’t stay healthy and the Saints will focus on shutting down their ex-teammate Brandin Cooks in this matchup. This gives way to Chris Hogan who will have a big day snaring passes from an angry Tom Brady.
You may look at the matchup against a stiff Denver defense and want to shy away from the ageless veteran, but think again. J-Witt is Dak Prescott’s safety blanket and is constantly being targeted by the Cowboys QB. Last week, Witten received nine targets, catching seven balls for 59 yards and one touchdown. Those numbers were against a similar caliber defense in the New York Giants, so expect a similar output this week.https://www.myfantasysportstalk.com/fanduel-value-plays-for-nfl-week-2/https://i1.wp.com/www.myfantasysportstalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/chris-thompson-steelers-week-1-660-350.jpg?fit=660%2C350&ssl=1https://i1.wp.com/www.myfantasysportstalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/chris-thompson-steelers-week-1-660-350.jpg?resize=150%2C150&ssl=1AFC EastAFC NorthAFC SouthAFC WestFantasyNFC EastNFC NorthNFC SouthNFC WestNFLRecent PostsDFS,fanduel value plays,Fantasy Football,NFLFanDuel Value Plays Week 2 Daily Fantasy is becoming more popular every year and is becoming more of a science than ever before.
