Drafting a top-level running back’s handcuff is becoming an increasingly popular strategy in fantasy drafts. With the running back position being watered down by committee approaches, or the common injury bug, it is a necessity that you draft backup running back’s for your stars. The table below gives every NFL starting running back, along with their projected backup. The ADP (average draft position is for 12-man standard leagues).

A few of my favorite handcuff heading into 2015 are David Johnson, Lorenzo Taliaferro, Duke Johnson, Jerick Mckinnon, Christine Michael and Tre Mason. There are more running back handcuffs that will be valuable, but those guys are deeper sleepers.

What RB Handcuff’s do you think will have a breakout season?
