Gotham

This season of Gotham has introduced us to so many Villains. The first half was called Rise of the Villains. I’ll admit I was semi-disappointed with the first season. The timelines seemed way off, age and such, and some of the characters just fell flat. Well, this season came back with a bang! They held nothing back! There were quite a few story lines involved I’m sure some comic fans recognized. Court of Owls perhaps? I was even sensing that the niece used to lure in young Bruce Wayne may be Talia…. ¬†We met Firefly.. THOUGHT we met Joker. I could go on and on.

This Monday’s episode featured Mr Freeze’s story. I love stories that show that the Villain did not start out a Villain. Much like the Riddler. I’m loving how deep this show is diving into story lines and showing many sides of our favorite classic characters . Including detective Gordon’s descent into the darkside. Giving in to the Villain side and actually taking a life. I’m looking forward to the rest of this season. I read reviews on both ends of the spectrum on this show. Fans either really love it… Or really love to complain about it. Either way as a fan I’m going to watch. Just bare in mind this show IS NOT about batman. It’s about the city of Gotham and what it became to make Bruce Wayne have the need to become vengeance, the night, Batman!
