In his first pro game stateside in more than a year, Nate Robinson tallied three points and three assists in 18 minutes as his Delaware 87ers raced past the Maine Red Claws, 123-101. Nate Robinson

The 11-year NBA vet came off the bench in the first quarter and sunk his first shot attempt less than two minutes later, swishing a three-pointer from the left corner. From there, the rust showed as Nate would miss his next seven attempts, ending 1-for-8 from the field.

It must have been a whirlwind for Robinson, playing in front of a crowd that tallied a whopping 816 people. Joking aside, it’s a start for the former NBA Dunk champ to get a chance at cracking an NBA roster.

Robinson signed an NBA D-League contract on Feb. 6, was acquired off waivers by the Sevens — the Sixers’ affiliate — on Feb. 8, and joined the team last Friday. He last played an NBA game for the New Orleans Pelicans on Opening Night 2015 (October 28), before spending last season in Israel.
