Captain Marvel

Last night during Monday Night Football, Marvel Studios dropped the second trailer for Captain Marvel, the next release in the MCU timeline. The film, starring Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Clark Gregg, Jude Law, Gemma Chan, Lee Pace, Djimon Hounsou, and McKenna Grace has garnered quite a buzz since the studio made the announcement that Carol Danvers would be the next Marvel hero brought to the big screen. The first trailer had fans talking Carol talking old ladies, Skrulls, young Nick Fury, and how Marvel would do Carol’s origin story.

When the second trailer dropped last night, I was on my way to the store and geeked out on the sidewalk. Like everyone spamming Marvel about A4 I’m excited about that film, but today I’m basking in Captain Marvel excitement. Check out the trailer below and join me in fangirling or not, your choice.

So, we finally discover why Carol punched that old lady in the first trailer. We also get a glimpse of a softer and less severe Fury. One thing I loved about this second trailer is that we got to see more of Carol’s powers. Hopefully, they’ll leave most of the plot and exciting moments out of any tv spots and future trailers.

What did you think of the new Captain Marvel trailer?
