Jamison crowder
(Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports)

The New York Jets are closing in on a deal that will land them the services of former Redskin Jamison Crowder per Ian Rapoport:

This is a great signing to help the development of Sam Darnold who could use a possession receiver with the talent of Crowder. He dealt with injury issues last season, but at 25 years old, Crowder still has fresh legs and the experience needed for the Jets receiving corps.

Terms of the deal have not been released, but we will update this article with more information as it comes available.

UPDATE: Terms of the deal have been reported: 3-years $28.5 million
