There’s been much speculation as to who the deceased Robin is in “Batman Vs. Superman”. I’ve seen and been involved in many discussions about which version of the character we’ll see. I have been wanting Jason Todd’s story to be the one featured in the upcoming DCEU movies. When Jason’s character was first featured in the 1980’s, it got horrible reviews. DC decided to kill him off, reintroducing him in the 2000’s in the “Under the Hood” series.

Jason has had his own feature animated film called “Batman Under the Redhood”. Jason was the second Robin. He replaced Dick Grayson when he became Nightwing. Hered hood batman was thought to have been killed by the Joker. He was brutally beaten to death with a crowbar before the building that he had been held captive in by the Joker exploded. Batman had carried out his body and never forgave himself, thinking he let Jason die.

Later on, Batman began to encounter some kind of vigilante killer knocking off bad guys left and right. Batman and Nightwing went against this killer and eventually recognized his skill set. The killer was calling himself Redhood. He eventually lets his identity be known and shows his resentment towards Batman and Nightwing. Jason believed that Batman favored Grayson, and that was part of the reason that he was left to die. He became an antihero.

Fans’ guesses were all over the map, including Carrie Kelly from “The Dark Knight Returns” because of the BvS story-line being based on the comic. I am hoping that we see Robin’s first appearance in “The Justice League” movie. Jason Todd was just confirmed as “dead” Robin in BvS.
