Joc Pederson must start for the Dodgers
Joc Pederson has been the top prospect in the Dodgers farm system since 2013, but has not been able to stay with the big league club after spring training, being sent down to the minors every year. Obviously, this does not have to do with Pederson’s lack of ability, rather the depth the Dodgers have maintained with their big-league club. Puig, Kemp, Ethier, Crawford, even Van Slyke have held the Dodgers outfield on lockdown for the past two seasons, making it quite difficult for Pederson to warrant a roster spot.
This spring is different for Joc, as Kemp was traded to division-rival San Diego, clearing the way for a spring training competition between Ethier, Crawford, and the top prospect for two outfield spots (Puig is inked in the lineup).

Pederson has not only put his name at the top of the competition between the three outfielders, I would say he is a must-start in the Dodgers lineup, and a must-start on your fantasy baseball team. With an average draft position in the late 180’s to 200 overall, his potential alone warrants a draft selection.
