On Wednesday night, NFL Network released numbers 20-11 on the Top 100 players of 2015. With all lists, there are those fans that disagree with where a player landed and where they believe they should have landed. The list is getting closer to the top ranked players; therefore, many people are paying close attention to the rankings at this point. Before the countdown could end, there were many debates already heating up. The biggest debate was Julio Jones vs. Dez Bryant.

Dez Bryant of the Dallas Cowboys was ranked number 15 on the list. Julio Jones of the Atlanta Falcons was ranked number 13. When they named Bryant at 15, twitter almost exploded. Fans, Cowboys fans in particular, thought Bryant should have been much more higher than that. Bryant finished the season with 88 receptions, 1,320 yards, and 16 touchdowns. He ranked 12th in receptions, 8th in yards, and 1st in receiving touchdowns. No doubt, Dez Bryant had an amazing season.

When Julio Jones was ranked 13th on the list, there was even more explosion. Many footballs fans, Cowboys fans in particular again, believed that Bryant should have been ranked higher than Julio should. Julio Jones finished the season with 104 receptions, 1,593 yards, and 6 touchdowns. Jones ranked 3rd in receptions, 3rd in yards, and 37th in receiving touchdowns. As you can see, Jones had an incredible season as well.

Dez Bryant agreed with fans at his position on the list. He even went to twitter to display how humorous he thought it was. He tweeted NFL Network saying LOL. Just a reminder Mr. Bryant, your fellow NFL peers made the list and that is where they believe you should be, and many fans agree. Most Cowboys games were shown on National TV and made for the world to see, whereas outside the Southeast region, no one really watched the Falcons game especially with their horrible record. To be honest, if Jones did not have one of his best games on Monday Night Football against the Packers, there’s no telling where he would have been ranked then. The players thought Jones had a better season than Dez, but do you agree?

Do you agree with NFL Network’s rankings? Should Dez have been ranked higher than Julio? Leave your feedback in the comment section below.
