Strengths:

  • Great footwork
  • Utilizes hips when blocking
  • Aggressive blocker
  • Powerful
  • Quick first step

Analysis: Laremy Tunsil is without a doubt, the No.1 offensive lineman in the draft. He is quick off of the snap and his lower body pliability allows him to get to defenders that most lineman cannot. He plays with a fierce passion that is unquestioned, and can knock opposing lineman down with one punch. Tunsil does a great job using his long arms to reach defenders on the edge and recognizes extra pressures quickly picking up d-lineman on combo blocks.

Weaknesses:

  • Over eager at times
  • Durability
  • Loses technique at times

Analysis: Tunsil dealt with a serious injury late in the 2014 season and long-term durability has come into question. He missed the first seven games of his junior season (2015) after he was suspended by the NCAA for receiving improper benefits. He started the Rebels’ final six games and did not miss a beat, dominating most defenders. However, he can at times, play over-eager lunging for a block and whiffing. With proper coaching, Tunsil can be one of the game’s best lineman.

Draft Prediction: Top 3

NFL Comparison: Tyron Smith
