LeBron James had 20 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds in the Cavaliers 113-100 game one victory over the Boston Celtics. Not a bad statistical night, but history was made on LeBron’s fourth assist of the game (to J.R. Smith) as he passed Michael Jordan for ninth all-time on the career postseason assist list with 1,026 dimes. James has always been known as the better passer, and he prides his game on setting up his teammates with easy buckets. That was never Michael’s game, who was the ultimate alpha-dog; Jordan knew he could score at will against any opponent and looked to take over the game differently.

The way LeBron is going, he has a chance to climb into the top three on this list. The first two are safe.
