Coming into the season the Buffalo Bills had high expectations with Rex Ryan coming into the “playoffs or bust” conversation. Although you can’t blame all of the defensive struggles on Rex Ryan, Le’Veon Bell may have gotten Rex Ryan’s seat a little hotter for his defense’s poor outing in the 27-20 loss on Sunday to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It was the second time this season a player has posted over 200 yards against the Bills defense this season. Jay Ajayi, whom they’ll meet again next week did it earlier in October finishing with 214 rushing yards, now the second-highest rushing total of the season, behind Bells monster performance in week 14 which isn’t something the Bills and the organization isn’t proud of.

Bell racked up 236 rushing yards and three touchdowns against the Bills defense in which he also added 62 receiving yards and four receptions. That made him the first player in NFL history with at least 220 rushing yards, 60 receiving yards, and three rushing touchdowns in a game. After a performance like that Le’Veon Bell is without a doubt the most important fantasy player for the rest of the season. With a whopping 47 points in standard scoring, 51 in PPR it is the highest since Jamaal Charles’s managed 51 points  in 2013 in week 15 against the Oakland Raiders

All of this fades out the fact that Ben Roethlisberger had a performance he’d like to forget throwing 3 INT’s, posting 2 fantasy points in standard scoring more than likely knocking his owners out of the fantasy playoffs. The Steelers now sit at 8-5 and atop the NFC North as the Baltimore Ravens get ready for a Monday Night showdown vs the New England Patriots. The Bills however sit at 6-7, won’t see the playoffs yet again, and we wait patiently to see what happens with Rex Ryan going forward.
