Analysis: Wilson is a former five-star recruit who made an impact right away at Alabama as a freshman (mostly on special teams) and developed into a leader of their defense while being named to the second-team All-SEC as a junior. In today’s NFL, he fits the linebacker mold perfectly–size, strength, speed and cover ability. He will not come off the field being a true three-down backer in any defensive scheme. I prefer him over Devin Bush Jr. who is generally rated as a higher prospect because I believe he will be more of an asset in present day NFL schemes. I would like him to be a little more instinctive instead of seeing then reacting, but he has all the skills to be a Pro Bowler at the next level. A great value on Day 2 of the NFL Draft.

Size: 6’1 240lbs

Draft Rank: No.2 LB

NFL Comparison: C.J. Mosley

Draft Projection: Day 2 pick
