Before Malik Monk was soaring at Kentucky, before he was a McDonald’s All-American from Bentonville High School, he was a Warrior from East Poinsett County High School in Lepanto, Arkansas.

Lepanto is where Malik grew up, watching his older brother Marcus have success on the football field, and on the basketball court for the Warriors, before moving on to the University of Arkansas.

Malik enters NBA Draft night as a sure lottery pick. So let’s take a trip back and celebrate the very beginning of the bright young star’s future. We found some full games of Malik’s freshman year in Lepanto with the EPC Warriors.

Thanks to Tubetown from Ritter Communications for these Malik Monk classics…
