Week 4 TNF [Vikings at Rams]

Holy Moly, if we have learned anything from the first three weeks of the NFL, it’s the consistent parody every year. We saw two ties in the first two weeks, and NOBODY had Buffalo going into Minnesota and pushing their s*** in. Was that too far? Oh well!

Welcome to another week of Man Up/Step Aside, where I will do my best to guide you to fantasy greatness. I know Thursday night games don’t get too much love, but sometimes we get some special things. Last week the Browns finally won a game in over 600 days, and now we’ve got a possible playoff preview in the first quarter of the season.

This is an intriguing game because Minnesota has a lot of eyes on them currently, and they have $84 million reasons why! Thanks Kirk Cousins. They’re coming into the game 1-1-1, same record as the Cleveland Browns. The Rams on the other hand, have been reeking havoc on their opponents lately. Hopefully with Talib and Peters out this week, we see more production out of Thielen and Diggs.

Kirk Cousins

Look, just burn that Week 3 footage if you’re a Vikings fan, or a Cousins owner. Start Cousins on a short week. The Rams defense is good, but they lost some valuable pieces on that defense, specifically the secondary and the Vikings are out for blood after getting embarrassed at home.

Brandin Cooks

All the Rams receivers are startable every week, but there will be weeks where at least one guy will frustrate you. Last week Woods and Kupp had solid numbers. This week look for Cooks to make a splash in your lineup.

Kyle Rudolph

Cousins is definitely looking for Rudolph in the middle of the field, and Rudolph has been a monster lately catching the majority of his targets. This week will be no different, as he should be an automatic TE1 on Thursday.

Cooper Kupp

This is a no brainer–even though the Vikings are a top defense when they’re on top of their game, lately they’ve been dealing with some off-field issues like with Everson Griffin battling his mental issues. Cooper Kupp continues to deliver excellence here.

Jared Goff

Goff is a solid start if you have to play him this week, but I think Minnesota will be the more desperate team here, and will make that extra play or two for their team at the end of the day.

Latavius Murray/Dalvin Cook

Even if Cook ends up playing I’m actually a little hesitant to trust him on a short week. I don’t think he’s fully healthy, so maybe another week out would be best for him–just let the man rest his hamstring, please coach Zimmer! As for Murray, what happened man? He let down all fantasy owners, so I’d try to avoid him this week, if he does get that start yet again. Maybe well see a Mike Boone appearance???

Robert Woods

Last week was a good week for Woods, this week another pass catcher will shine for the Rams.
