Some have voiced concern as to whether the partnership between two giant companies is a good idea as of now, and question rather or not The Avengers Project with succeed in the current market. The big game developers have recently seen a drop in sales, especially during the holidays, as gamers veer toward smaller and independent game developers. I am still optimistic though, and believe we will get an excellent game. Square Enix is well-known for large-scale games in which it is very easy to devote hours upon hours of gameplay. Added to that the teams at Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal, both companies familiar with action RPGs, I think there is going to be a great game here.

How do you think this is going to turn out? Will the Avengers Project be a huge blockbuster success, or will it suffer from the same lackluster delivery we’ve seen over the years in many adaptations of comics? Let us know below, and be sure to check back here for more updates on the game.
