McDaniels

In shocking news to many, Tuesday evening we learned that New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels would withdraw himself from the head coaching position of the Indianapolis Colts.

Reports over the weekend from ESPN were stating that McDaniels would stay in New England, especially if the Patriots were to win Super Bowl 52 it was a no brainer, but with a load of changes happening to the New England franchise this season, the offensive coordinator won’t be one of them.

Rumor is that McDaniels is set to replace the legendary Bill Belichick when he is ready to retire, which makes it interesting to wonder when Belichick might walk away from the game. That’s obviously just heavy speculation going forward, but now the Indianapolis Colts now have to fill that void, as they went as far as setting up a news conference for Wednesday assuming McDaniels would take the job.
