Memorabilia Break Spotlight: Now You See It Sports Breaks
In addition to introducing you each week to a memorabilia collector, we will be showing you different groups that give you access to awesome sports memorabilia.
This week, we would like to introduce you to Now You See It Sports Breaks.
Now You See It Sports Breaks (NYSI), is based out of Long Island, New York. The administrators are Chris Meyerowitz, Matt Paul, and Robert John.
If you participate in their breaks, most of the time you will only see Matt. He does all of the box breaking and is extremely entertaining! Robert (Bobby) is on there occasionally, and Chris handles a lot of the behind the scenes business.
NYSI currently has 1,154 members. The group was just founded in July of 2018. Getting a group started can be difficult, but talking with Chris, their group took off fairly quickly.
“This took off a lot faster than previously anticipated. After about 6 weeks, it really took off. November was our biggest month so far.”
How Did The Group Start: “We all were members of a similar type of group which was located in another state. We decided we wanted to start a similar type group located in New York which has one of the biggest sports fan bases.”
Products Offered: NFL full size and mini helmets, NFL jerseys and footballs, MLB jerseys and bats, NHL jerseys, NHL helmets and goalie masks (mini and full size), and NBA jerseys.
Group Goals: “Our goal is to provide our members with the best available product that’s out there. We have ventured into our own custom hydro and other types of helmets, while also getting them signed by the athletes themselves at expos and other signing events, as opposed to buying from wholesale.”
Advice/Wisdom: “One suggestion is to not get discouraged if you don’t win your first couple of tries. We always see wins come in bunches.”
Recent Pulls: Luke Kuechly Authentic Helmet, Amari Cooper Blaze Helmet, Travis Kelce Authentic Helmet, Melvin Gordon Authentic Helmet, and lastly, a Tom Brady Chrome Helmet.
The nice thing about NYSI and their breaks is that they provide a lot of high-quality products for a not very high price. All of their breaks are done live on Facebook.
Be sure to check them out and get into some of their breaks to get yourself some awesome memorabilia!
Stay tuned next week for another collector and another group to check out.
