Week 9 was another success story for our pickers. Dan led the way with a 10-2 weekend, followed by Brandon at 9-3 and Orlando brought up the rear with a respectable 7-5 record. For the season, Brandon is still in the lead, while Dan and Orlando have flip-flopped in the standings.

Standings after TNF Week 10

Brandon Reid: 90-43-2

Dan Schalk: 84-49-2

Orlando Torres: 80-53-2

Week 10 NFL Picks

Week 10 NFL Picks

Redskins at Buccaneers

Dan Schalk: Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Give me the Tampa offense to outscore Washington.

Brandon Reid: Washington Redskins. The Redskins are the stronger team. They have a better run game, and a much better defense. The Bucs are spiraling out of control, and Dirk Koetter’s days are numbered.

Orlando Torres: Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This is going to be a tough game for Washington to win on the road. Alex Smith is trying to keep his team in first in the NFC East standings, but we all know Fitz is going to put up a fight.

Cardinals at Chiefs

Dan Schalk: Kansas City Chiefs. Yes, the Chiefs will win—but it will be closer than most expect.

Brandon Reid: Kansas City Chiefs. I’m not going to waste our time explaining this one.

Orlando Torres: Kansas City Chiefs. Kansas City is just operating so smoothly. I don’t know what team is going to stop them at the moment. It certainly won’t be the Cardinals.

Bills at Jets

Dan Schalk: New York Jets. Sam Darnold being out actually helps the Jets chances to win in my mind. Josh McCown is a vet and can come in and make a spot start equate to a victory. Oh, and have you seen the Bills offense? It’s little loop-esque.

Brandon Reid: Buffalo Bills. I think the Bills defensive unit is best unit in this game. Darnold is looking more and more average as the weeks progress. This is a toss up, I just have a feeling the Bills will prevail.

Orlando Torres: New York Jets. I feel horrible for the people who have to watch this game.

Jaguars at Colts

Dan Schalk: Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags defense can’t continually be this bad.

Brandon Reid: Jacksonville Jaguars. I keep holding out hope that the Jags will snap back into form, it just hasn’t happened yet. But an average Jags team is good enough to beat the Colts.

Orlando Torres: Indianapolis Colts. Finally, we get to see Fournette back in action. These two teams are both fresh off a bye, and it should be a fun one. Playoff hopes are on the line here, and I’ll take Luck over Bortles.

Lions at Bears

Dan Schalk: Chicago Bears. I don’t particularly like either team, but I’ll take Chicago at home.

Brandon Reid: Chicago Bears. The Lions offense has fallen apart. They lost their best receiver, Golden Tate, via trade. And Soldier Field is no fun place to play from November on.

Orlando Torres: Chicago Bears. I feel bad for Stanford. Yes he got paid, but the dude has no help. Now on the road going up against a nasty Chicago defense, it’s going to be another battle.

Saints at Bengals

Dan Schalk: New Orleans Saints. Who Dat has officially become my 2018-19 team after the signing of Dez Bryant. ThrowUpTheX all the way to the Super Bowl.

Brandon Reid: New Orleans Saints. I would be more inclined to pick an upset here if A.J. Green was healthy and playing. He’s not. The Saints are rolling. But this may be more of a game than people think.

Orlando Torres: New Orleans Saints. This feels like a trap game for the Saints. No AJ Green here either. But I’ve got the Saints in a close game.

Patriots at Titans

Dan Schalk: New England Patriots. Tom Brady doesn’t lose to an inferior team like Tennessee.

Brandon Reid: New England Patriots. I know it’s hard to figure out the Tennessee Titans. If they played in the NFC East they may be a playoff team. I don’t think this will be a blowout because I don’t think the Patriots are that good. Most of their seven wins are against non-playoff teams. But I wouldn’t expect the Titans to win.

Orlando Torres: New England Patriots. During Monday Night’s game, Dallas could not stop Dion Lewis. This time around the Patriots know exactly how Lewis operates. The Patriots will crush the Titans.

Falcons at Browns

Dan Schalk: Atlanta Falcons. What Brandon said.

Brandon Reid: Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons are the better team and finally starting to look the part of a playoff team.

Orlando Torres: Atlanta Falcons. There’s change coming to Cleveland, just not this week.

Chargers at Raiders

Dan Schalk: Los Angeles Chargers. LA and Philip Rivers are my dark-horse Super Bowl contender in the AFC.

Brandon Reid: Los Angeles Chargers. Like I said last week, the Raiders are not trying to win games this year. Not sure they could beat the Chargers even if they were.

Orlando Torres: Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers are rolling right now. Oakland’s losing streak continues.

Seahawks at Rams

Dan Schalk: Los Angeles Rams. The Saints are better, but luckily the Rams aren’t playing the Saints.

Brandon Reid: Los Angeles Rams. I don’t look for the Rams to lose but maybe one or two more games all year-long. They ran into the perfect storm of Drew Brees at home last week.

Orlando Torres: Los Angeles Rams. If this was in Seattle I would pick the Hawks. After a tough loss last week to the Chargers, I expect the Seahawks to keep this game close. But I’m gonna give the Rams the advantage with home field.

Dolphins at Packers

Dan Schalk: Green Bay Packers. This is not a game Green Bay will lose.

Brandon Reid: Green Bay Packers. I give the edge to the Packers as long as Rodgers is playing, and the game is in Lambeau.

Orlando Torres: Green Bay Packers. After two brutal road losses, the Packers need to start making their run now. It likely won’t be a good day for Miami.

Cowboys at Eagles

Dan Schalk: Philadelphia Eagles. Dak Prescott is terrible and I hope we see Cooper Rush at quarterback sometime this season.

Brandon Reid: Philadelphia Eagles. I might have been inclined to pick the Cowboys in this game, had they not made Marcus Mariota look like a Pro-Bowler last week. Philadelphia is starting to get healthy, and play a little better. All of the talent is there, it just needs to click. Classic case of Super Bowl hangover.

Orlando Torres: Dallas Cowboys. What a mess. This whole division in general. If only this Dallas team had as much passion as Michael Irvin on First Take. Philly is rested and off a bye, but Dallas needs this win more to stay in playoff contention.

Giants at 49ers

Dan Schalk: New York Giants. Nick Mullens, welcome to the NFL in your second game.

Brandon Reid: New York Giants. I said weeks ago that there was only a couple of games I would consider picking the Giants in all year-long. This is one of them. Had the 49ers been able to stay healthy, I would have more confidence picking them. But as bad as the Giants are, they will still have the most talent on the field Monday night.

Orlando Torres: New York Giants. Finally the Giants will get a win, I hope. Mullins did not look bad last time we saw him, but I like the Giants playmakers a little more.
