MFST’s Week 12 Thanksgiving Day NFL Picks
After a stretch of brilliance from our pickers, the last two weeks have knocked them down with Week 11 delivering a gut punch as two of our pickers–including the self-proclaimed #TopDog, Brandon Reid–have losing weeks (5-8 record). Dan Schalk squeaked out the only positive record this week at 7-6. Despite his atrocious week, Brandon is still in the lead as we head into Turkey Day.
Happy Thanksgiving from all the MFST Pickers! Brandon, Dan and Orlando….
Current Standings after Week 11
Brandon Reid: 104-55-2
Dan Schalk: 98-61-2
Orlando Torres: 94-65-2
Thanksgiving Day NFL Picks
Bears at Lions
Dan Schalk: Detroit Lions. A week after saying they may not win more than two games all year, I’m predicting them to go on a nice streak. The Lions looked impressive in their victory over Carolina, and with no Mitchell Trubisky for Chicago, I don’t like the Bears chances on the road with a backup QB.
Brandon Reid: Chicago Bears. I would normally go for the Lions in this Turkey Day matchup, but the da Bears keep surprising me. They are now on a four game win streak and have a great shot at extending that steak.
Orlando Torres: Chicago Bears. I’m not sure if Trubisky will be playing in this game after injuring his shoulder on Sunday, but even without Trubisky the Lions don’t give me any hope in picking them. Matt Patricia will have his squad fired up, but it’ll end in a losing effort.
Redskins at Cowboys
Dan Schalk: Dallas Cowboys. I still have zero confidence in Dak Prescott, but I do have it in Zeke and this defense. Colt McCoy has beaten Dallas on Turkey Day before, but not this year.
Brandon Reid: Dallas Cowboys. I’ll go with the home team on Turkey Day. Especially since the Redskins are going to be getting use to a new QB.
Orlando Torres: Dallas Cowboys. Washington was looking like the favorite early on, but Dallas is in the driver’s seat now in the NFC East. I don’t see them slowing down their momentum either, at least not this week before they play the Saints.
Falcons at Saints
Dan Schalk: New Orleans Saints. The Falcons struggled against Dak Prescott last week, how are they going to do against Drew Brees?
Brandon Reid: New Orleans Saints. The Saints are rolling and the Falcons are not.
Orlando Torres: New Orleans Saints. Don’t you dare go ‘Black Friday’ shopping right away. You’re not going to want to miss this show down on Thanksgiving night.https://www.myfantasysportstalk.com/mfsts-week-12-thanksgiving-day-nfl-picks/https://i0.wp.com/www.myfantasysportstalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/nfl-turkey-thanksgiving.jpg?fit=400%2C270&ssl=1https://i0.wp.com/www.myfantasysportstalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/nfl-turkey-thanksgiving.jpg?resize=150%2C150&ssl=1Atlanta FalconsChicago BearsDallas CowboysDetroit LionsNew Orleans SaintsNFC EastNFC NorthNFC SouthNFLNFL PicksRecent PostsWashington RedskinsNFL,NFL Picks,Thanksgiving Day,thanksgiving day nfl picksAfter a stretch of brilliance from our pickers, the last two weeks have knocked them down with Week 11 delivering a gut punch as two of our pickers--including the self-proclaimed #TopDog, Brandon Reid--have losing weeks (5-8 record).
