Week 14 helped no one in the standings as our last place picker, Orlando Torres, was the only one over .500 with a 9-7 week. Brandon maintained his 7-game lead over Dan as they both brought in 7-9 weeks.

With three weeks to play, Brandon Reid is looking like he may bring in his first pick’em title.

Standings after Week 14

Brandon Reid: 132-74-2

Dan Schalk: 125-81-2

Orlando Torres: 121-85-2

Week 15 NFL Picks

Week 15 NFL Picks

Texans at Jets (Sat.)

Dan Schalk: Houston Texans. The Jets can beat the Bills, not the Texans.

Brandon Reid: Houston Texans. I can’t see the Jets competing in a high level NFL game at this point in the season. Houston is fighting for the AFC South.

Orlando Torres: Houston Texans. I’ve learned my lesson. I’m not picking against Houston no more. The Jets certainly don’t give me any reason to change my mind either.

Browns at Broncos (Sat.)

Dan Schalk: Denver Broncos. It’s fantasy playoff time in the Schalk household, so for the love of all that is holy, please let Phillip Lindsay rush for 250 yards and three touchdowns.

Brandon Reid: Denver Broncos. It’s always tough to go into Mile High and win a December football game. Cleveland has turned a corner, but they’re still in the same neighborhood.

Orlando Torres: Denver Broncos. Baker Mayfield has done wonders for the city of Cleveland. This would be a huge win for the Browns, but I think Denver buckled down on defense here.

Cardinals at Falcons

Dan Schalk: Atlanta Falcons. Even in a loss, I’m feeling a big game from David Johnson.

Brandon Reid: Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta has been a big disappointment this year. But Arizona has been the worst team in football. Enjoy a late season home win Dirty Bird fans.

Orlando Torres: Atlanta Falcons. Battle of the Birds. Falcons finally gets a win.

Raiders at Bengals

Dan Schalk: Oakland Raiders. The Raiders have been playing very well as of late. I like Derek Carr to out-duel Jeff Driskel without A.J. Green on the road.

Brandon Reid: Cincinnati Bengals. I don’t see a late season surge all of a sudden by the Raiders. Not sure their roster is capable.

Orlando Torres: Cincinnati Bengals. I want a day that Cincinnati loses 6 straight, but I think Oakland drops one here.

Dolphins at Vikings

Dan Schalk: Minnesota Vikings. Only because the Vikings are at home…but I’m pulling for a Miami victory.

Brandon Reid: Minnesota Vikings. I’m still not buying Miami as a contender. Minnesota has lost three of their last four, but they were all on the road. SKOL nation at home.

Orlando Torres: Minnesota Vikings. This isn’t a prime time game, so Kirk Cousins should be just fine here.

Cowboys at Colts

Dan Schalk: Dallas Cowboys. I’m terrified that this pick will end the Cowboys winning streak.

Brandon Reid: Dallas Cowboys. Dallas has proven me wrong this year. I really thought they would struggle. They have got back to what they do well…run the ball and play defense. Indy is another team that has really surprised me. Remember when they said Andrew Luck is done? I still think Dallas is the more complete team.

Orlando Torres: Dallas Cowboys. I expect a shootout here. Both defenses have been playing really good, but with playoff expectations on the line we could be in for a thriller.

Buccaneers at Ravens

Dan Schalk: Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore are home. The End.

Brandon Reid: Baltimore Ravens. The Bucs won’t be able to get enough stops to win this game on the road.

Orlando Torres: Baltimore Ravens. Tough road game for the Bucs.

Lions at Bills

Dan Schalk: Detroit Lions. I see no reason why the Lions will win this game. Stafford has been horrible, they have no run game with Kerryon Johnson injured and they have more wideouts on IR than any other team in the NFL. But, I need to make up games in the pick’em and the Bills are always a crapshoot.

Brandon Reid: Buffalo Bills. My picks have been so bad the last couple of weeks, this has been just the kind of game to trip me up. Bills at home, why not?

Orlando Torres: Buffalo Bills. Ehh its a toss-up for me. I’ll take the Josh Allen’s.

Packers at Bears

Dan Schalk: Chicago Bears. I haven’t been a Bears believer all year, but I’m beginning to change…a little bit. At least when they are playing at home against a not-so-good Packers team.

Brandon Reid: Chicago Bears. I was very impressed with the way the Bears beat the Rams. I’m not sure they can duplicate that performance, but I’m pretty much out on Green Bay this year.

Orlando Torres: Chicago Bears. We all remember what happened last time when these two played. Rodgers was knocked out of the game for a bit. This time around there won’t be any miracles here.

Redskins at Jaguars

Dan Schalk: Jacksonville Jaguars. Josh Johnson looked good last week. Not this week.

Brandon Reid: Jacksonville Jaguars. What a who cares game. But someone has to win. I heard the Redskins called Mark Rypien this week. Jags at home.

Orlando Torres: Jacksonville Jaguars. Finally a game that will allow the Jags D to look good again.

Titans at Giants

Dan Schalk: Tennessee Titans. No OBJ again, I like the Titans defense to dominate a weak Giants o-line to pull out an ugly victory.

Brandon Reid: New York Giants. I didn’t think I would go this way a month ago, but Tennessee is so up and down, and again, this is just the type of game that has tripped my picks up over the last couple of weeks.

Orlando Torres: Tennessee Titans. I’m really hoping the Titans let Henry run wild again. The Giants have to win out if they hope to make the postseason, but I don’t see that happening.

Seahawks at 49ers

Dan Schalk: Seattle Seahawks. It will be closer than most would think.

Brandon Reid: Seattle Seahawks. I’m quite certain about the outcome of this one.

Orlando Torres: Seattle Seahawks. Aside from George Kittle, I don’t know who else is going to help him attempt to beat Seattle.

Patriots at Steelers

Dan Schalk: New England Patriots. The Patriots are serious contenders (I get to read Brandon’s answers before I give mine).

Brandon Reid: Pittsburgh Steelers. I can’t believe the Patriots are the #2 seed in the AFC right now. They are pretenders. Time for some Pittsburgh payback from a year ago. Jesse James catch will count this year.

Orlando Torres: Pittsburgh Steelers. This is going to be a fun one. The playoff implications change no matter who wins. I’m going with Pittsburgh here. They’re more desperate after losing two in a roll.

Eagles at Rams

Dan Schalk: Los Angeles Rams. I have the Rams defense in fantasy. LA pitches a shutout.

Brandon Reid: Los Angeles Rams. I am quite certain about the outcome of this one too. The Rams needed a late season loss to wake them up and shine a light on some deficiencies.

Orlando Torres: Los Angeles Rams. It’s over Philly.

Saints at Panthers

Dan Schalk: New Orleans Saints. Drew Brees returns to form with a 500-yard, 4-TD performance.

Brandon Reid: New Orleans Saints. This could be one of the upsets that trip my picks up this week, but New Orleans is by far the better team.

Orlando Torres: New Orleans Saints. I don’t know how the Panthers stop their losing streak now. Not against these saints.
