Black Panther

Marvel has been busy the last few days adding names to Ryan Coogler’s (Creed) Black Panther. The film, scheduled to be released in 2018, already has cast Chadwick Boseman (42, Civil War) as the title character. Boseman can be seen in Captain America: Civil War and has one of the best moments of the film. Also this week we learned that Coogler is in negotiations to cast Lupita Nyongo (Jungle Book, Star Wars) as well. Just a little while ago we learned that Michael B. Jordan (Creed, Fantastic 4) has been cast in the film in an unknown role. According to the report, Jordan could be playing the villain of the film. We’ll guess that means he will be one and done. Hopefully with Jordan’s acting skills he can bring something fresh to the Marvel villain lineup.

So far it seems Marvel is going all-out in getting great talent for what is already one of their most anticipated movies of 2018. How do you feel about the casting of Michael B. Jordan? Do you want him to play a villain or would you rather see him play someone else? Leave a comment below and as always tune to MFST for all of your DC/Marvel news.
