e3Microsoft kicks off the E3 conferences today, where companies from around the gaming industry show off the newest games, features, trailers and consoles to the gaming world. Microsoft is the first big console company to have their press conference today at 12:30 P.M. where they are expected to talk about the Xbox One Slim, Gears of War 4, and and more. Check back here for updates on the conference to see the latest news, trailers and more released by Microsoft today.

12:32 P.M.

Xbox officially announces the Xbox One S. It is the Slim version of the Xbox One, as it is 40% smaller, a 2 TB hard drive, integrated power supply, HDR gaming with 4K visuals, a new Xbox One controller with longer range, Bluetooth capability and grip on the back of it. It starts at $299 and comes out this August.

12:35 P.M.

Gears of War 4 is getting talked about and it will be the first game that you can play on Xbox One and PC, a new feature called “Xbox Play Anywhere”, where some games are are available on both platforms and if you buy it on either one, you can play it on both and everything will transfer. For Gears of War 4, PC and Xbox One players will be able to play together in co-op and horde. The game comes out October 11, 2016. They also announce a Gears of War 4 Xbox One Elite controller.

12:45 P.M.

Rukari Austin, Community Manager from Killer Instinct is on the floor now. He announces the newest character to the roster and it is General Raam.

12:46 P.M.

Forza Horizon 3 teaser is released and Ralph Fulton, Creative Director of the game comes out to talk about the upcoming game. The game is set in Australia and it is the most open world game they have ever built. New challenges and vehicle types make it the largest roster ever. There is 4 player campaign co-op for the first time ever. It is also a Play Anywhere title. September 27, 2016 is the release date.

12:53 P.M.

A gameplay trailer for a game called recore is released.

12:55 P.M.

Square Enix comes out and talks about Final Fantasy XV. It comes out September 30, 2016.

12:59 P.M.

Tom Clancy’s the Division announces new DLC that will come out on June 28 called Underground.

1:00 P.M.

Battlefield 1 is talked about, on October 13 the game is available for EA Access Members.

1:02 P.M.

Mike Ybarra, head of Platform Engineering adding more live servers to where gamers are for a more reliable gaming network. They announced new features like background music, language region independence and Cortana. Coming this fall for Xbox is clubs on Xbox Live. You create communities where you can play with the same people who love what you love. Next there is a new feature called looking for group. You can post something and look for players who you need to play with and people can who want to play for the same thing as you. Arena on Xbox Live is the final new feature. It is for the competitive gamers who want to play against friends and others in tournaments. FIFA is one of the games announced to be in the Arena.

1:07 P.M.

Minecraft announces that you can play together on Xbox One, PC, Android or iOS, titled the friendly update. Dedicated servers are available with your friends so they can play with you even when you aren’t on. The city texture pack is also getting released today. Add-ons are coming this fall to Minecraft. They let you change animals to something different. Zombies were changed to aliens in the gameplay. Minecraft Realms is the name of the new game.

1:13 P.M.

Microsoft announces customization for controllers. 8 million ways to make your own controller in the Xbox Design Lab.

1:14 P.M.

A teaser for a game called Inside is released. Check it out below

It launches on June 29 and it was made by the same people who made Limbo. Limbo will be free on Xbox One as well. ID @ Xbox is the talking point here and a trailer is released for what is coming out soon. Check out the trailer below.

Xbox Game Preview is talked about as well with success like ARK being in the program.

1:20 P.M.

Some gameplay is shown for a game called We Happy Few and will be available for Xbox Game Preview July 26.

1:24 P.M.

Gwent, the witcher card game gets announced as a stand alone game. There will be a single player campaign. Your deck is filled with 10 cards and 10 cards only. There is a closed beta coming in September and you go to the website to sign up for it.

1:28 P.M.

A trailer and gameplay is shown for the upcoming fighting game Tekken 7 which is coming out in early 2017.

There is a new story mode. More features will be announced at a later time. All Xbox Live Gold Members get a free copy of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 this week.

1:32 P.M.

Dead Rising 4 trailer is released and Frank is back. The game comes out in holiday 2016.

1:34 P.M.

Microsoft Studios comes out and talks about how they have created some great games and what is coming out soon. Scalebound is one of the biggest games for 2017 and gameplay has been released.

1:42 P.M.

A teaser trailer for a game called is Sea of Thieves released. You can explore worlds filled with treasure with friends and you will have many adventures. Here is the world premiere for gameplay of the game.

1:48 P.M.

A trailer for State of Decay 2 is released and gets a 2017 release date.

1:49 P.M.

A trailer for Halo Wars 2 is released and the game will come out February 21, 2017. There is a beta for the game beginning today and will end June 20.

1:53 P.M.

Phil Spencer comes out and talks about playing on different consoles and devices. He talks about uniting gaming communities and playing together. He says they see something in 4K and VR capabilities in future devices. Fallout 4 will now have VR capabilities. A trailer is released for another new Xbox called Project Scorpio and it comes out Holiday 2017. All three consoles, the original, slim and Scorpio will have the same capabilities and nobody will get left behind.
