After a warm windy day in Memphis that saw six players with a share of the lead, Sunday will be no disappointment with four players within three shots of the lead shared by Greg Owen and Fabian Gomez. Owen and Gomez are tied at nine under after both shooting three under rounds of 67 on Saturday. Both men will be looking for their first ever PGA Tour win at the 57th Annual FedEx St. Jude Classic on Sunday.

The FedEx St. Jude Classic annually provides players that one last tune up before the U.S. Open major. This year is no different as stars such as Stewart Cink, Nick Watney, Boo Weekley and Phil Mickelson compete in Memphis ahead of next week’s U.S. Open Championship at Chambers Bay in Washington. But its the little less known Englishman Greg Owen and Argentine Fabian Gomez that lead the way heading into the final day of the FESJC.

Sunday should provide a memorable finish to the tournament as you have 12 guys within four shots of the lead. Crowd favorite Phil Mickelson is not one of those guys. Phil, who was the runner-up in Memphis two years ago, is currently tied for 19th at 3 under. Phil did have a share of the lead on opening day.

The weather for the final round in Memphis calls for 5-10 mile-an-hour winds and a stray thunderstorm. This should provide a good test for those competing since next week’s U.S. Open will be in the Pacific Northwest for the first time ever. The New Zealander Tim Wilkinson navigated the warm windy conditions better than anyone on Saturday shooting a 5 under 65 to move into a tie for 7th place. It will take a day like Wilkinson’s third round performance for one of these contenders to break away from the pack on Sunday and win the 57th annual FedEx St. Jude Classic.
