Mr. Olympia 2016 Bodybuilding Almost Here
The 2016 Mr. Olympia is Nearly Here
The 2016 Bodybuilding Mr. Olympia is only a few short weeks away! On September 16th and 17th the best bodybuilders from across the globe will assemble. Bringing with them years of dedication, and more than a little tanning oil, they’ll compete for the ultimate prize. Only one man will go home truly satisfied on this night. After all, second place is merely a euphemism for “First Loser.”
Time really flies when it comes to anticipation. It feels not so long ago, the bodybuilding world was abuzz when Kai Greene announced he was no longer competing in the 2015 Mr. O. Hopefully all those issues are sorted out (it appears that way), and we’ll get to see what bodybuilding fans deserve – one final rematch between “The Gift” and “The Predator”.
Two years ago, Kai Greene gave Phil Heath just about all he could handle. Not only did the two compare very closely physique-wise, but tensions were at an all time high when a physical altercation nearly irrupted on stage.
While Phil Heath inevitably walked away with the “Sandow,” many bodybuilding fans felt the true victor, Kai Greene, was robbed of his crown.
This Year’s Lineup
This year’s Mr. Olympia should be one to remember. 2016 will include not only the usual suspects, including an assortment of past winners and runner-ups, but a talent laden group full of burgeoning superstars. To top it off, a name already etched in history will be making a comeback of epic proportion.
Phil Heath, Kai Greene, Dexter Jackson, Shawn Rhoden, Roelly Winklaar, Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay, Cedric McMillan and Kevin Levrone are some of the top names you should keep an eye on.

Levrone is coming back from a 13 year retirement, and in the video above you can he him in his prime. In the past, he placed 2nd an astonishing four times at the Mr. Olympia. However, at 52 years old it remains to be seen what kind of “final form” he can bring to the stage. Many consider him to be an uncrowned Mr. Olympia, and a throwback to the glory days of the 90’s. In an age of giants, he stood his ground at the top. Without question he has some of the best genetics the world has ever seen.https://www.myfantasysportstalk.com/mr-olympia-2016-bodybuilding-almost-here/https://i2.wp.com/www.myfantasysportstalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/phil-heath.jpg?fit=600%2C338&ssl=1https://i2.wp.com/www.myfantasysportstalk.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/phil-heath.jpg?resize=150%2C150&ssl=1News and UpdatesRecent Posts#MrO,#MrO2016,#MrOlympia,mr. olympia The 2016 Mr. Olympia is Nearly Here The 2016 Bodybuilding Mr. Olympia is only a few short weeks away!
