mr. robot season 3

The season 3 trailer for Mr. Robot was released Friday and it looks like we’re going to be diving even further into Elliot’s (Rami Malek) broken mind. We also got a premier date which is October 11th. It sounds like Phillip Price (Michael Cristofer) who is narrating lyrics from the song “Democracy” by Leonard Cohen. The world is still in chaos after the fall out of the 5/9 hack and in other teasers it looks like E Corp is taking over.

We left off last season with Elliot being betrayed by Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) and Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallström). Creator Sam Esmail has said that this season will be about Elliot trying to bounce back from being betrayed. Even his best friend Angela (Portia Doubleday) was in on it, so it seems. The only person who seems to really have his back is his sister Darlene (Carly Chaikin). New to the show this season is Bobby Cannavale who will be playing a character named Irving who is described as a “laconic, no-nonsense used car salesman.”

Will Elliot finally win the fight against his split personality this season and gain back full control? We know that is Mr. Robots worst fear. “Democracy is coming to the USA.”

Check out the trailer below and tune in October 11th at 10pm on USA.
