Week 1 NFL Picks

After an eventful week 1 of NFL picks, Dan has built a slight lead over Brandon for top dog while Orlando licks his wounds in corner, by himself.

Here are the standings after week 1:

Dan Schalk 11-5

Brandon Reid 9-7

Orlando Torres 4-12

We will have our full week of picks coming this weekend, but for tonight’s Thursday Night showdown between the Jets and Bills, we have made our selections.

Dan Schalk: New York Jets– Despite the home team always having a significant advantage on Thursday games the Bills are severely lacking in seemingly every department. Add in the health status of Sammy Watkins, I’ll take the Jets in an ugly game with multiple turnovers for both squads.

Brandon Reid: Buffalo Bills- This might be the only time I pick Buffalo this year. This is basically a pick’em game. The line is all over the place. I have more faith in the Jets offense, but home teams on Thursday nights have a clear advantage before the game kicks off.

Orlando Torres: New York Jets Sheldon Richardson returns for this division showdown and Tyrod Taylor might not have much room to scramble with Cordy Glenn hurt. The Sammy Watkins foot injury has me worried for Buffalo’s scoring options.
