My Fantasy Pick’em: Thursday Night Picks [Bears at Packers]
Welcome to our weekly My Fantasy Pick’em where Dan Schalk, Brandon Reid and Orlando Torres pick all of the NFL games straight up. At the end of the season we will crown one the champion of all champions. You can check all three out on the My Fantasy Podcast airing weekly here on My Fantasy Sports Talk.
Week 6 of the NFL schedule saw all three guys take home a winning record. Dan had the best week with an 11-3 record, followed by Orlando Torres at 9-5 and Brandon Reid with an 8-6 mark. Below are the current standing through six weeks of the NFL season.
Dan Schalk: 57-33
Brandon Reid: 50-40
Orlando Torres: 47-43
Thursday Night Picks
Chicago Bears (1-5) at Green Bay Packers (3-2)
Dan Schalk: Green Bay Packers. The Packers are beat up on both sides of the ball and Aaron Rodgers is playing like his brother Jordan. All that being said, the Bears are not a good football team and travelling to Lambeau is no easy task. I’ll take the Pack by a touchdown.
Brandon Reid: Green Bay Packers. Gut check time for the Packers. Short week but no travel for Green Bay after a disappointing performance against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. The Bears are 1-5, and 0-3 on the road this year. No fancy analysis on this game. I just can’t bet against Aaron Rodgers here.
Orlando Torres: Green Bay Packers. NFL defenses used to not want the ball in Rodgers hands. Not anymore. At 3-2 it feels like a must win game for GB as they try to keep to with the Vikings. Green Bay wins, but not easily as the Bears will put up points to make the contest close.
