My Fantasy Pick’em: Thursday Night Picks [Cardinals at 49ers]
Welcome to our weekly My Fantasy Pick’em where Dan Schalk, Brandon Reid and Orlando Torres pick all of the NFL games straight up. At the end of the season we will crown one the champion of all champions. You can check all three out on the My Fantasy Podcast airing weekly here on My Fantasy Sports Talk.
Through four weeks of the NFL season the three members of MFST’s My Fantasy Podcast- Dan, Brandon and Orlando have struggled with their picks to say the least. Here are the updated standings through Week 4….
Dan Schalk: 36-26
Brandon Reid: 32-30
Orlando Torres: 29-33
Now onto our Thursday Night Picks as the cellar-dwellers of the NFC West face-off…
Arizona Cardinals (1-3) at San Francisco 49ers (1-3)
Dan Schalk- Arizona Cardinals. If Arizona loses this game, they can say good-bye to their championship hopes. Falling to 1-4 is not an option even with Carson Palmer unlikely to suit up. Look for a heavy-dose of David Johnson in a low-scoring affair.
Brandon Reid- Arizona Cardinals. These two teams have been on similar paths to the bottom of the NFC West. San Francisco just isn’t moving the ball very well and they are giving up 35 ppg in the last three games. The 49ers are becoming who I thought they were and the Arizona Cardinals are getting into desperation mode if they want to live up to expectations this year.
Orlando Torres- Arizona Cardinals. This game seems like it can get unwatchable very quickly. No Palmer for the Cards and Blaine Gabbert isn’t playing like a starting QB. Overall Arizona is the better team, but San Francisco will keep this game close. Arizona wins.
