In case you haven’t picked up NBA 2K16 yet, or haven’t quite transitioned out of football into basketball yet, here is an in-depth look at the game’s all new My Career story mode. I will take you through my players beginning in Harlem, all the way to the big leagues. This story mode allows you to play through high school, select a college to sign with, and hopefully, one day make it to the NBA. There will be drama a long the way, just like in real life.

Spike Lee produced this all new story mode and gave the My Career mode an unbelievable face list. Speaking of face lifts, the game allows you to actually scan your face via your systems camera, and place it right on your My Career player. While this isn’t new, the technology is really getting sharp with this feature. My character came out looking a lot like me (after 3 scan attempts). Although, my face didn’t matchup well with the default actors frame during cut scenes. However, in-game, it looks really good.

This new My Career mode is a lot of fun if you like story modes and cut scenes. It’s like watching a Spike Lee mini film. It’s also a fun way to jump into the game and start learning to play if your a less experienced NBA 2K player.

I will be showcasing the entire story so sit back, relax, and get ready for the NBA 2K16 career of Brandon Reid. Here is Episode 1: The Beginning…
