NBA Preview and Predictions
Here is a look at a two of tonight’s games in the NBA.
Pacers (1-1) @ Bulls (1-0) 7:00 CT
The Pacers look to bounce back from a loss tonight against the Bulls, they suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of Jeremy Lin and the Nets last night.
The Pacers didn’t get the same quality performances they got in their opener. Jeff Teague was underwhelming with only four points. The bench also failed to contribute nearly as much. They scored a combined 25 points, 15 of which came from C.J. Miles.
They will need to provide Paul George with a lot more help against the Bulls tonight if they want to win.
The Bulls look to continue to get the solid contribution from Dwayne Wade and Jimmy Butler, as they combined for 46 points in their first game.
Rajon Rondo also provided nine assists and six rebounds.
The Pacers have the younger roster and possibly better roster, but the experience that the Bulls have coupled with the combo of Wade and Butler, will be too much for the Pacers.
Prediction: Bulls 102 – Pacers 94
Pelicans (0-2) @ Spurs (2-0) 7:00 CT
Anthony Davis looks to try and will his team to their first win of the season in San Antonio tonight.
The Pelicans once again lost last night despite ever ounce of effort that Anthony Davis gave them. Davis scored another 47 points to go with his 50 point opener. Davis has 97 points this season of the Pelicans’ 216 total points.
If they do not figure out a way to get him some help, not only will they not win anytime soon, but they may burn out their superstar.
The Spurs look to continue their undefeated start. Their game against the Kings was a little closer than their first game, but Kawhi Leonard was still impressive with 30 points.
The starters were lackluster to say the least, but the bench provided 43 of their 102 points.
The Spurs will have their hands full in trying to slow down Davis, but without any other real fire power, the Spurs should not have to worry.
Prediction: Spurs 109 – Pelicans 97
Current Record- 11-5
