NBA Preview and Predictions for 11/4

 Raptors vs. Thunder

Toronto comes in to Oklahoma City to put their perfect record to the test. This game features two of the most athletic and energetic teams, and should be a fun one to watch.

The Raptors have been using their speed and athleticism to pull away from teams late in the game. Tonight they face the modern era Pippen-Jordan combo. The Raptors have their own 1-2 punch that they are going to need to be on top of their game. Lowry and DeRozan have been both averaging right around 20 points a game and have gotten solid contribution from the bench players as well. They will need the whole collective effort to pull off what is probably considered an upset.

OKC dropped their last game due to a collapse in the end. If there is a team for them to not have a 4th quarter defensive lapse against, it is the Raptors. The Thunder have five players averaging over 10 points a game, including Westbrook and Durant combining for just over 60 a game. Westbrook will need to stay out of foul trouble tonight because they will need his defensive prowess to slow down the Raptors.

My Prediction: The Thunder bounce back from their loss against the Rockets with a vengeance. They will be looking to silence the hype surrounding the Raptors. Serge Ibaka may have a bigger game than you would expect.

Clippers vs Warriors

Two of the last three undefeated teams face off tonight in what could be a chippy game. With all of the Clippers talk of needing luck, Golden State is no doubt excited to get a chance to put their rings in the Clippers mouth at home.

The Clippers are off to a hot start. However, only one win has been by a large margin. Blake Griffin is averaging just shy of 30 points per game, and Jordan has added 15 rebounds and almost 5 blocks to make them the scariest big men combo in the league. The real player they will need to be on point is Chris Paul. He has lost jock straps and hit some killer dance moves at the expense of Steph Curry, tonight he needs to exact his revenge if the Clippers want to win.

Golden State… what is there to say? They are playing out of their mind with an average margin of victory of 25 points. They have the number one point guard in the league, and probably the best all around team. Not to mention they have a bone to pick the Doc Rivers and the Clippers. Draymond Green will have two jobs tonight, if he does them effectively, the Warriors will be in good shape. He needs to play his best possible defense and he needs to not get in foul trouble.

My Prediction: Things will be tense tonight. There will probably be at least two technical fouls. Green will probably get into it with either Griffin or Jordan. As impressive as the Clippers have been, they just won’t be a match for the offended Warriors.

 Warriors 118- Clippers 108
