hannah hart

After announcing that she will have a six-episode Food Network show last year, YouTuber and New York Times best-selling author of two books, Hannah Hart has since released the name, premiere date, teaser trailer and other details going into this weekend. Chief programming, content and brand officer, Scripps Network Interactive, Kathleen Finch says of the pairing:

“Hannah’s young, fresh voice and unique sense of humor make her food adventures a perfect fit for our viewers,” Finch began. “Her enthusiasm is sure to inspire others to hit the road for their own culinary journeys.”

The series, “I Hart Food”, will follow Hart as she travels around the country on a fixed budget, discovering the local food of a particular city while also interacting with local chefs. In a Food Network blog post, Hart spoke about Food Network and her new show:

“Food Network has been an incredible partner and I’m really proud of the show we made together. I am so excited to share the experiences of extraordinary meals and the chefs who shared their passions and expertise with me on ‘I Hart Food, said Hart who was also an executive producer for the project. “I’m a major food enthusiast, and this show is perfect for those who have an insatiable appetite for all things food! We’re gonna learn real things, because I want to be able to make a croissant at home.” Funny enough, now that she’s now done filming the show, she attempted to make a croissant on her YouTube channel, MyHarto in another installment of her internet show, My Drunk Kitchen. It’s also been revealed what cities Hart has traveled to: Santa Fe, New Mexico; Asheville, North Carolina; Portland, Maine; Eugene, Oregon; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Missoula, Montana. The show premieres on August 14 at 10 p.m ET.
